With an LCD display, users can adjust the flow of the pump. The HW-3000 also has a controllable built-in 9W UV steriliser, which is perfect for keeping algae away from your aquarium.
The new HW-3000 require no priming to start. Simply fill both intake and outtake tubes with tank water, plug in the power and water will start moving. Please notice all canister filters go through water pressurise test before boxing by the manufacture to ensure there are no leaking. There may be condensation still trapped inside the filters.
The HW-3000's system utilises a multi-stage approach to filtration. Filtering aquarium tank water through four (4) internal layered baskets with assorted filter media material provides extremely thorough biological, mechanical and chemical filtration. It also draws water into the filter through an inlet tube and returns crystal clear water via an outlet tube (both supplied). The outlet tube is fitted with a spray-bar to help increase oxygen aeration levels within your tank. These filters are ideal for freeing-up space within your tank and provide a huge internal capacity for filter media, making them suitable for larger volume tanks.
